Last month, I met up with Lisa (one of the photographers on the ‘Our Vintage Story‘ shoot in September) and her fiancé Alex.
This shoot is part of the series of shoot swaps where photographers shoot other photographers. Why you ask? Well, like the saying, a cobbler’s son has no shoes, it is the same with photographers – we create beautiful memories for our clients but we are rarely in any photographs ourselves, especially with family!
Lisa and Alex will be getting married next March in the US, so their shoot swap is a musically themed engagement shoot.
A big thank you to:
- The Indesit Party Launderette (temporarily located for a couple of days only at Dray Walk, Off Brick Lane) – part launderette (yes the washing machines do work!), part art installation, part free afternoon tea and cakes, part music set – for letting us basically take over the place and allowing Lisa and Alex ‘play a set’ on the decks!
- Rough Trade for letting us shoot in the store!
- Cassandra for helping on the shoot, scouting locations and just making us all smile!
So without further ado, here are the photos!
These are awesome! I love them!
Thanks Eliza!
