It is always a honour to shoot a wedding, but it is a double honour to shoot a wedding for a bride who loves photography and is a photographer!
Whilst the bride had her hair and make up done at the local salon, the groom got prepared at home and called a taxi to take them to Brentwood Registry office, a converted cottage on the edge of Shenfield Common. The weather was warm and sunny – probably the last of the summer sun for this year!
After the service, and a few portraits on Shenfield Common, the bride and groom were picked up again by the same taxi driver (!) and whisked off to their reception at Lot 67. The guests were served delicious Italian mozzarella and salmon starters, pizza and tiramisu.
The bride and groom get to get married all over again as they will be having a second wedding down in sunny South Africa next month with their South African family!
