These are some of my favourite images from a local London wedding I photographed at The Church of the Precious Blood, which is a stone’s throw from Borough Market and London Bridge. After a short service conducted by Father Christopher, the bride and groom exited to a shower of confetti.
As always with the weather in the UK, the weather had been lovely over the previous week, only to turn unsettled and rainy on the day! The bride and groom did not let this faze them and jumped in a taxi for the short distance to the reception – Jack’s Bar near Waterloo East/Southwark.
Jack’s Bar put on BBQ steak and pork for the guests, served with a beautiful smoky paella, chips or salad. After everyone had eaten and helped themselves to seconds, the best man gave his speech and then the couple cut the cake.
