Entering through the ‘Think and Thank’ gate to Winchester House is like entering into another world after the traffic of Putney High Street! It is very hidden away on the bank of the River Thames.
After the entrance of the bride, and an exchange of vows, the bride and groom held an outdoor reception before sitting down to the wedding breakfast. And for weather in late autumn, it was surprisingly warm and sunny!
Each table was named after people, events and interests close to the bride and groom. There was a Morrissey table, an Elvis table, a Tommy Cooper, a rowing and surfing table and even a Sound of Music and Star Trek table! The favours were of course items to do with the table theme so the guests could dress up accordingly!
After dinner and speeches, the couple and the guests retreated to the garden to light some sparklers.
Here are some images from the day.
