Another Hackney Town Hall wedding, this time the bride got ready at her home in South London before grabbing a taxi to Hackney Town Hall along with her bridesmaids. The majority of the guests based in South London ordered an Uber taxi and rushed through the Blackwall Tunnel to the East End. After the bride and groom got married, they were pelted with a Tesco’s Finest rice confetti shower (it hurts!) from the guests, as they exited Hackney Town Hall. The bride and groom with their guests took the train on the Underground to the reception which was held in the oldest working flour mill in London. The guests mingled in the garden in the sunshine drinking lemonade and playing table football. After the speeches (one of the best men did a cartwheel!), the dance floor was opened with a surprise present from the groom to the bride- a live set from the infamous Brassroots brass band. Jerome kept the dance floor jumping and the guests challenged each other to a dance off. The cake was made by the mother of the bride and the bride and groom made their own rings.
Here are a few of my favourite images from the wedding. Enjoy!
