Recently I was commissioned to shoot a wedding at Woolwich Town Hall. As you know Woolwich Town Hall is the registry office in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and only a stone’s throw from me! (The other being Danson House which is the registry office in the borough of Bexley.) The registry office is known for its Art Deco ceilings and sweeping staircase. The town hall opened in 1906.
Woolwich Town Hall is ideal for smaller weddings with the Edwardian Room fitting up to 36 guests. The bride and groom opted for a short ceremony before taking a water taxi over to their wedding breakfast in a local restaurant with 10 or so of their friends and family.
Here are some my favourite wedding photography images from their day.
