Recently just before Christmas I got to go over to Grange White Hall hotel near Russell Square to photograph a birthday dinner for a guest celebrating her 80th birthday. My brief for the 80th birthday party was twofold capture images for group shots as well as enough images for an album which would be given to the celebrant later. So how did I do?
Guests got to enjoy a buffet of sandwiches, desserts, ribs, chicken, and nuggets. After dinner held in the conservatory, the guests tried to guess companies and inventions that had been started before and after the birthday girl’s date of birth. As no Nigerian party is complete without a present given to the guests – chin, jollof rice and mugs given out as party favours.
